Pharmaceutical Chemistry discipline includes the study of organic chemistry, analytical chemistry, and medicinal chemistry.

The department courses cover the study of the techniques of the synthesis and the identification of the chemical structures of therapeutic drug classes, and the utilization of the up-to-date modelling programs so that the student could properly participate in drug discovery.

In addition, the student would be familiar with the modern techniques of drug analysis, as an essential tool to assure the quality of drugs both in their pure form and in dosage forms.
