The Department of Clinical Pathology specializes in diagnosing blood diseases and examining marrow and organ functions in animals. Various types of animals, poultry, fish, and experimental animals, in addition to dealing with sick animals with great skill to diagnose diseases with an accurate pathological diagnosis. The department also aims to build students’ cognitive abilities related to microorganisms (bacteria, viruses, and fungi).
In addition to the basics of immunity, which enables students to build a knowledge base to understand all pathogens and other courses. In addition to explaining and clarifying the various causes of parasitic diseases, such as roundworms, tapeworms, and animal protozoa, as well as identifying the insects that transmit these parasites through laboratory diagnosis of each of them using a light microscope.
