In recognition of the Faculty’s vital role in community service, the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at the Faculty of Physical Therapy, Egyptian Chinese University, headed by Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Nahed El-Husseiny, and under the patronage of Prof. Samy Abdel Samad Nassef, Dean of the Faculty, organized a visit to Dar Hayat Center for Elderly Care in Heliopolis.

The visit was coordinated with the committee members and attended by a group of faculty members, as well as fourth- and fifth-year students from the Faculty of Physical Therapy.

During the visit, the committee presented symbolic gifts to the elderly residents and provided a variety of recreational activities and physical therapy services, including:

• Raising awareness of the importance of breathing exercises and training the elderly on how to perform them correctly.
• Teaching various balance exercises to help improve stability and reduce the risk of falls.
• Training the elderly in exercises designed to enhance blood circulation.
