In 2016, the Egyptian Chinese University (ECU) was born to be one of the beacons of science and knowledge, not only in the Arab Republic of Egypt, but also regionally and internationally. The Egyptian Chinese University has signed scientific and research cooperation protocols with China’s JiaoTong University, one of the top ten universities in China and the top one in engineering and software sciences. With this cooperation, strategic partnership and giant capabilities, it is intended to make a qualitative leap in the Arab Republic of Egypt for higher future prospects through the introduction of the latest systems of education, learning and scientific research.

The Egyptian Chinese University has been keen since the first day to take into consideration the application of international quality standards in the various academic and administrative institutions through the founding of the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Center. The main purpose of the QAAC is to enable the Egyptian Chinese University to meet the requirements and the standards of the National Commission for Quality Assurance and International Standards. Consequently, ECU is to lead the process of continuous improvement of the institutional and academic performance and gain the confidence of the community in the professionalism of its graduates according to internationally agreed on standards to compete on both national and international levels.
